How does voice work?
When you tap the microphone and speak, your speech is turned into text right on your device using an on-device speech model — your raw audio never leaves your phone. Only the resulting text is then sent to Google's Gemini API so the AI can understand your plan and make the right changes to your schedule.
Is my data private?
Yes — privacy is the whole point.
- Your raw voice recordings stay on your device and are never uploaded.
- We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and we never sell or share your data.
- Your account and content are stored securely with Row-Level Security, so only you can access your data.
- The Gemini AI runs on a paid tier, which means your prompts and responses are not used to train Google's models and are not human-reviewed for training.

How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete everything yourself, anytime, from inside the app:
- Open Nudge.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
This is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes your account and all associated data — your tasks, learned preferences, and history — immediately, the moment you confirm. If you run into any trouble, email us at nudgeplannerapp@gmail.com.
